He has fallen in love with the latter but the Blues are not eager to let him off.
According to Mail Online, the Brazilian centre-half did not turn up for training on Wednesday, August 7, and is determined to force Chelsea into agreeing on a deal with Arsenal after the Gunners tabled an offer for his signature.
French publication L’Equipe also reported that Arsenal are in advanced negotiations with David Luiz and the Brazilian international has made up his mind he wants to move to the Emirates.
