Exactly nine years after scoring his very first UEFA Champions League goal against Feyenoord back in 2017 with Manchester City, Gabriel Jesus went and did it all over again in a Barcelona shirt.
The Brazilian forward came off the bench in the 83rd minute at Spotify Camp Nou during Barça’s Champions League opener. It took him just two minutes on the pitch to get off the mark, rising high to head home a pin-point cross from Lamine Yamal to seal a ruthless 5-1 victory for the Catalans.
Back in September 2017, Jesus scored his first-ever European goal against the Dutch side in a 4-0 win, and now he’s opened his European account for Barcelona against the exact same opponent.
