Captain, goalkeeper of Germany and Bayern Munich, Manuel Neuer, has been ruled out for two weeks after picking up a calf injury in a match against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday.
The 33-year-old was replaced by Sven Ulreich in the 53rd minute of Bayern’s 4-1 victory seeming to slip while trying to send a pass across.
Bayern released a statement on Sunday evening showing he had a torn muscle in his calf and will be out for 14 days missing next week’s DFB Cup semi-final.
Mats Hummels is also set to miss training for the next few days after leaving the due to a thigh complaint.
