Arsenal have signed Italian wingback Riccardo Calafiori from Seria A side Bologna.
The 22 years old has played 42 matches for Bologna, recording two goals and six assists with 13 clean sheets.
Calafiori agreed on a five-year deal last June and he’s set to sign the contract at Arsenal this week.
Arsenal and Bologna have started exchanging necessary documents, after agreement revealed Saturday.
Bologna will receive up to €50m package, add-ons included and sell-on clause too — all finally sorted.
Calafiori will travel to US for pre-season tour, Arsenal have planned for medical directly in the US.
