Nigerian disc jockey and producer, Michael Adeyinka, popularly known as DJ Tunez, has won the Best DJ Africa award at AFRIMMA 2026.
He shared the news on his official Instagram page, @dj_tunez, on Sunday.

AFRIMMA is an annual awards platform that celebrates African music, artistes and other creative talents across the continent and in the diaspora.
DJ Tunez is also featured in AFRIMMA’s artist directory, where he is identified as a DJ and sound system contributor to African music, culture and entertainment.
The recognition adds to DJ Tunez’s achievements as a DJ and music producer, with his career spanning the Nigerian and international Afrobeats scenes.
DJ Tunez is known for his association with Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, and his work with several leading African artistes.
He has also released and produced music with artistes including Wizkid, Wande Coal, Burna Boy, Omah Lay and other prominent names in the African music industry.
DJ Tunez’s award further highlights the growing recognition of Nigerian DJs and producers in the global African music industry.
