Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has taken another step in his music career, moving from being the artiste in the spotlight to becoming the boss behind a new record company.
The singer has officially launched Zinodict Music and unveiled rising artiste Waziyung as its first signee, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Afrobeats star.
Zinoleesky announced the signing on Thursday, October 1, sharing a video from the contract-signing moment with Waziyung.
The new imprint is now set to introduce its first artiste to a wider audience, with Waziyung scheduled to release his debut single, Fuji Vibe, today, October 2.
Waziyung, who is associated with the Lagos street-pop scene, has previously released songs including FESTIVO, Olomi, My Life and Happiness.
For Zinoleesky, the move signals a shift from simply building his own catalogue to creating a platform where he can discover and develop other artistes.
With Waziyung becoming the first name on the roster, all eyes are now on the direction Zinoleesky will take with his new venture.
