The Katsina State Government on Wednesday handed over 15 assorted Police vehicles it repaired to the representative of the state police command
The Deputy Chief of Staff in the Deputy Governor’s Office while handing over the repaired vehicles in a brief ceremony held at the premises of the Katsina State Government House Banquet Hall, said the state Governor, Dikko Radda, graciously approved the sum of N50 million for the repair of the vehicles.
He explained that the intervention followed a special appeal made by the State Police Command through the Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Musa, to the Governor to assist in repairing the police vehicles. “We invited mechanics & panel beaters locally & repaired the vehicles in order to encourage our local talents mostly students drawn from the Katsina Youth Craft Village,” he noted.
He, therefore promised & assured that the vehicles are going to be put to actual good use & will certainly be maintained
