The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Mr Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has felicitated with Sheikh Khaleefah Akoshile, Grand Khalifa of the Tijaniyah movement in Lagos State, on his 77th birthday.
Akoshile is also a member of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) and the Amirul-Mumini of Oro Kingdom in Kwara.
Danladi-Salihu commended the cleric for his contributions to the propagation of Islamic teachings and ideals, as well as spiritual awakening, particularly through his leadership of the Tijaniyah movement.
He described Akoshile as a respected Islamic scholar whose commitment to promoting peace, unity and spiritual development had continued to inspire many.
The Speaker prayed for Allah to grant the Tijaniyah leader more years in good health and divine guidance as he continued to serve God and humanity.
