Critical artiste and saxophonist, Seun Anikulapo Kuti, has questioned the government on what tax payers’ money is being used for.
Kuti stated that his daughter inquired what money collected for tax, all the oil money, charges and stamp duty money, was used for.
According to him, all the things that are built in Nigeria are funded by loans.
He wrote (SIC):
“I’m just asking for a friend.
All the tax money.

All the clearing money for port. All the VAT and consumption tax.
All the oil money. All the bank charges and stamp duty.
All the license money, car license money.
Abeg if you know, tell me, my daughter wan know and I no know Wetin to tell her.”
