Ogogo’s health challenge: Senator Yayi steps in as veteran actor finally gets medical attention

The family of deceased actor Taiwo Hassan, aka Ogogo, has confirmed receiving N25m from a cleric he kept the money with.

This is the Chief Imam of his hometown Ilaro, Sheik Muhammad Tajudeen Mustapha Adewunmi, who had earlier revealed the deal with the Thespian.

According to the cleric, Ogogo kept the money with him with the instruction that he should help him use it to complete a family house he (Ogogo) was building in the town.

As BBC Yoruba reports, during the eighth day Fidau prayer for the actor, both the cleric and family confirmed the refund.

The development has ignited praises for Sheik Adewunmi, whom many see as being honest and not falling for greed.

Also, it is a pointer to some that Ogogo was not only financially solid, he also dearly loved Ilaro.
