Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has described Governor Godwin Obaseki as a snail, while describing the forthcoming governorship election in the state as a race for tigers.
Oshiomhole said this during an interview with ‘Channels Television’ on Sunday.
According to him, Obaseki is no threat because he does not even qualify to contest
“How can he be a threat? A man who is not even eligible to contest elections? How can a snail be a threat in a race where tigers are involved?” He said.
The same Sunday, Obaseki had, however, warned the opposition to shun the violence they were allegedly planning.
He told a group of students who visited him that he would deploy violence against whoever unleashed violence during the election.
