A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt has stopped Edo Governor, Godwin Obaseki, from participating
in the governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) slated for Thursday, June 25.
The suit was filed on Monday by one of PDP’s governorship aspirants, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, after he vowed not to step down for Obaseki.
Ogbeide-Ihama also alleged that Obaseki did not purchase PDP form or undergo screening within the time-table schedule.
