The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State has commiserated with the Hon. Ladi Adebutu Campaign Organisation on the death of one of its leading members, Ms.Abimbola Orekelewa.
The APC noted in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye, that the passage was a big loss to all stakeholders.
Described as a strong member of Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole Babes,( an aspirant for Remo Federal Constituency), Orekelewa died in an accident on Wednesday while on her way to Abeokuta in solidarity with Lado in the court case between the Buruji faction and Lado faction of the Peoples Democratic Party.
“It is a very bitter incident, shocking and sorrowful,” Oladunjoye said in the statement.
He added, “We pray that God repose her soul and give her friends and family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
