The O TO GEE slogan that the All Progressives Congress unleashed on Kwara politics seems to be doing magic as the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, is inching closer and closer to defeat in the Senatorial seat he contested for on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
He has lost three of the four local government areas in Kwara Cthe entral Senatorial District.
Based on figures from the Independent Electoral Commission, APC’s Ibrahim Oloriegbe is well ahead of him.
In Ilorin south, Oloriegbe had 26,331 while Saraki secured 13,013 votes. In Ilorin east, Oloriegbe polled 30,014 votes while Saraki got 14,654 In Asa, Oloriegbe polled 15,932 while Saraki got 11,252 votes.
In all, Ibrahim Oloriegbe secured 72,277 while Saraki trailed with 38,919 votes, leaving a margin of 33,358.
