All is now set for the 2019 edition of the Lagos Theatre Festival founded by the British Council.
The organisers aim big as they say it will feature up to 600 artists to present over 100 performances at 20 locations.
This edition is themed ‘Imagine the Unimaginable’
Like in 2018, the 2019 edition will have guaranteed and fringe strands.
Established in 2013, the festival accommodates all cadres of theatre groups and performances. Among other functions, it affords emerging dramatists and opportunity to showcase their talents while more playwrights have also had their works see the light of the stage.
