Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed that she underwent a breast lift after welcoming her second child, following earlier discussions about changes to her body after two pregnancies.
The actress confirmed the procedure during an interview with The Cut, after previously speaking about her plans for the surgery and how motherhood had affected her appearance.
In a 2025 interview with The New Yorker, Lawrence reflected on changes to her body while discussing an unclad scene in her 2023 comedy, No Hard Feelings.
“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back,” she said.
Lawrence also revealed that she was due to film another unclad scene the following year, after the birth of her second child.
Asked whether she would consider a breast lift if she were not a famous actress, Lawrence acknowledged that her career influenced how quickly she wanted to arrange the procedure. However, she said she believed she would still have opted for it.
“Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,” she said, adding, “But I think yes.”
During the interview with The New Yorker, Lawrence also discussed Botox and dermal fillers. She said she avoided fillers because she believed they could be noticeable on camera. When asked whether she had undergone a facelift, she replied, “No, but, believe me, I’m gonna!”
In her interview with The Cut, Lawrence also spoke about balancing motherhood with her desire to look put-together during everyday activities, including taking her children to school.
She said she wanted to be a “sexy mom” and appear organised during school drop-offs, even on mornings when she had only just woken up and did not feel that way.
