Jude Bellingham’s influence on football celebrations has crossed into American football after Jacksonville Jaguars kicker, Cam Little, recreated the Real Madrid midfielder’s signature pose following a dramatic victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in London.
Little made a 57-yard field goal as time expired on Sunday, October 11, to secure a 19–17 win for the Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Overcome with excitement, the 22-year-old kicker removed his helmet and sprinted towards the end zone, spreading his arms wide in a celebration familiar to fans of Bellingham.
His teammates followed him onto the field as Jacksonville celebrated the last-second victory.
Little later acknowledged the inspiration behind the gesture, telling reporters that he knew they had noticed the Bellingham celebration.
The moment was particularly fitting because the game took place in London, a city with a strong football culture, where Bellingham’s celebration is familiar to many sports fans.
Bellingham, who plays for Real Madrid and the England national team, has made the open-arms pose a recognisable part of his goal celebrations.
He has carried it across club and international football, making it one of his most distinctive on-field trademarks.
Little’s tribute demonstrated how celebrations can travel beyond the sport in which they originate, connecting athletes and fans across different games.
While Bellingham celebrates goals on the football pitch, Little borrowed the gesture to mark a career-defining moment of his own, giving the English crowd another reason to remember the Jaguars’ dramatic London win.
