Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has hinted at a new album, saying he is enjoying the process of making the project.
The Grammy Award-winning artiste disclosed this in a post on his X handle.
“Having so much fun making this next one! Can’t wait to share 😇🦅😇 #album,” he wrote.
Responding to exchanges among fans about the anticipated project, Wizkid added: “E go drop, make una stop dey fight.”
The posts have generated excitement among fans who have been waiting for the singer’s next full-length project.
Wizkid, however, did not disclose the title or release date of the forthcoming album.
The project would follow Morayo, his sixth studio album, released in November 2024 and dedicated to his late mother, Jane Balogun.
The album featured collaborations with artistes including Brent Faiyaz, Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola and Anaïs Cardot.
Wizkid has also released other major projects, including Made in Lagos, More Love, Less Ego and Sounds From the Other Side.
