She also ordered the convict to pay the complainant a compensation of N38, 500 or spend another six months in prison in default.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Ibrahim Gokwat told the court that the case was reported at the “B” Division Police Station on May 2, by one Dyek Gyang, the complainant.
Gokwat said that the convict used a master key to open the parked Hijet pickup belonging to the complainant and stole one power bank, one phone charger, one MP3 and also destroyed the lock of the vehicle, all valued at N38,500.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened the Plateau Penal Code Law.
