The Chinese currency, Renminbi (Yuan), weakened slightly to 7.1937 against the U.S. Dollar on Wednesday, according to figures released by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.

The central parity rate is based on a weighted average of market maker quotes before the interbank market opens each day.

In China’s spot forex market, the Yuan is permitted to fluctuate within a 2% range from the central parity rate on any given trading day.
