The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), has commended President Bola Tinubu over the appointment of Muhammad Abu-Ibrahim as the Executive Secretary, National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF).
This is contained in a statement by the Katsina State Chairman of the association, Ya’u Gwajo-Gwajo in Katsina on Wednesday.
He described the appointment as “good development,” in view of the appointee’s wealth of experience in agriculture and enterprenuership.
Gwajo-Gwajo urged the appointee to work hard to justify the confidence repose in him by the president and contribute towards effective repositioning of the Fund and agricultural sector in the country.
“The association, on behalf of the people of Katsina State thanks Mr President and his government, and we also pray for more peace and prosperity in Nigeria.
“President Tinubu deserves commendation for fulfilling his campaign promises by engaging youths in his administration”.
