Simi speaks on depression

.Joromi singer, Simi, has reflected on depression, especially the type driving many young people towards suicide.
In a Twitter dialogue, she noted that the struggle to ‘keep up’ is really driving many crazy.
She explains, “It’s scary and sad. Especially for young men. The struggle to keep up. The fear of failure. The desperate desire for validation. Very scary. I hope that we can let people know it’s ok to share and lean on someone when things get too heavy.”
Several Nigerian youths have committed suicide in recent times, with many getting fed up with one condition or the other.
