All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said that he was able to beat his opponents silly during the party’s primary because the northern governors backed him.
He said the governors agreed that power should shift to the south and they found him suitable for presidency.
He said this during the ongoing meeting the Arewa Joint Committee is having with him Kaduna.
He, however, noted that he never got the slot on silver platter.
He had to compete for it but, based on the governor’s support, “I beat my opponents silly.”
