Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has sought to neutralise the calculation that he has no structure that can give him victory.
Apart from several other people have expressed the thought, his Peoples Democratic Party counterpart, had written him off, the Labour Party vis a vis Obi cannot get anywhere because it has no governor, no senator and other key elements of a strong party.
But responding to the argument on Monday, Obi said during an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels Television:
“Nobody goes into a match thinking of what will happen. Everyone is going into it to win. I’m going into this contest to be the next President of Nigeria… I think I have all it takes to win.”
Many youths and other Nigerians who believe Obi represents a new dawn do not share the view that he has no structure.
As far as they are concerned, the resolute fans are the biggest structure.
