Popular comedian, Ayo Ajewole, aka Woli Agba, has said that he did not collect any money when he joined other comedians to visit the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday.
He went to the Aso Villa alongside Josh2funny, Taaooma, Yemi Elesho and others.
But while they insisted they went there concerning an award that skit makers association was organising, many of their fans have been lambasting them for doing so.
They have also accused them of collecting money.
Woli Agba had angrily responded earlier but he is out with another post obviously having reflected on what he initially said, including calling the critics programmed robots.
Now, he explains:DIRECT ANSWERS TO ONGOING ISSUES:
1. I did not collect a dime on this trip.
2. The motive behind my visit to the villa has nothing to do with an envelope and none was received by me.
3. Though the reason for our visit to the villa was for NSIA, yet, we seized the opportunity to first present the grievances of we, the youth. #policebrutality #twitterban among others, while we hope for positive change from the govt.
4. The clause “programmed robot” in one of my comments was a misconception and I sincerely apologise for that.
5. I am a youth and a member of the #sorosokegeneration and I am unwilling to be manipulated against what we all stand for.
6. I preach good values: Morals, Respect and Integrity (evident in my works).
7. #sorosokegeneration we mooooovvveeeeee. 💪💪💪💪
I LOVE YOU ALL. ❤❤❤❤
