The Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly Hon Abok Ayuba has been impeached.
From the INTEL, INTEL REGION gathered, we understand that Abok was impeached on Thursday morning after a vote of no confidence by 16 members of the assembly.
Meanwhile Rt Hon. Yakubu Sanda representing the Pengana constituency in the state assembly has been elected Speaker by the members.
In other news, the police has taken over the state house of assembly.
