Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, has been released by the military.
He was arrested in Onitsha on Wednesday when he was spotted wearing a dress associated with the secessionist Bifra/IPOB.
His release came after some of his colleagues and many other Nigerians had berated the military for arresting him.
These include Destiny Etiko and Emeka Ike, with the latter saying in a video, “Release all victims of cosnscience immediately. Your belief is you. Your ideology is you. Tyranny never pays. Dialogue is golden. Release Sunday Igboho, release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. immediately. The world is watching & history never forgets (sic).”
