A notorious bandit who has been on the wanted list of the Nigerian Police in the northwest region of Nigeria, Surajo Mamman aka Kutaku, has met his Waterloo.

Kutaku who said he has lost count of the number of people he has either kidnapped or killed and the amount of cattle he has rustled, is currently singing to the Katsina Police Command about his criminal exploits.

SP. Isah Gambo, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, paraded the notorious bandit and others in front of the media on Wednesday at the state police headquarters.

Surajo Mamman, also known as “Kutaku,” said he is the second-in-command of the group.

Sani Muhidinge, a notorious bandit on the government’s wanted list, is hiding out in the Rugu forest between Katsina and Zamfara states.

“For a long time, I’ve been involved in kidnapping and other banditry-related crimes. I don’t know how many people I’ve killed or kidnapped, but it’s a large number.

“Actually, until I was arrested, I didn’t see anything wrong with my involvement in the act. But now my eyes have been opened.”

He also admitted to being involved in numerous attacks, kidnappings, and cattle rustling in the state’s Dan Musa, Safana, Dutsinma, and Batsari LGAs.
