Labour Minister, Chris Ngige, has questioned the patriotism of Nigerian doctors leaving the country.
The brain drain has come to a head with the Saudi Arabia government coming into Nigeria to openly recruit doctors.
The exercise is holding at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja, to which consultants, doctors and others have trooped.
Reacting to this in an interview with newsmen, Ngige said the Buhari government had done a lot for doctors.
He added, “Are we not Nigerians? Where is patriotism? What is the cost of training doctors? I don’t want to go too much into it. I want to let the sleeping dog lie.”
