PSG fans were hostile to Kylian Mbappe on Saturday when he was announced as playing in their match against Strasbourg .
In contrary, the club’s new royal bride, Messi, was cheered despite the fact that he did not play in the game that PSG won 4-2.
His bosom friend, Neymar, too did not play – just as Di Maria didn’t.
“While Messi is the new idol of the PSG support, those fans jeered when Mbappe’s name was read out by the stadium announcer ahead of kick off.
“The France striker is in the spotlight with speculation that he will seek a move away from PSG before the transfer window shuts — he has so far refused to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the campaign,”” AFP says in a report.
