Southern governors have insisted on banning open grazing in all their states.
This is in defiance to the stand by President Muhamamdu Buhari that open grazing would continue on old routes.
The governors are from both the ruling All Progressives Party and Peoples Democratic Party.
They restated their stance in Lagos on Monday during a meeting hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
According to them, all the states in the forum must have promulgated the anti-open grazing law by September 2021.
