Twitter founder Jack Dorsef appears to be in a solidarity mood as he, at eeaxtly 12 am on Saturday, tweeted the Nigerian flag.

It is the country’s Democracy Day, a rather peculiar one, celebrated amind a lot of anxiety.

Insecurity is acute while drums of disunity are loud and disturbing.

While many are relieved that President Muhammadu Buhari has been speaking to the nation after a long contested silence, the country has ben at war with Twitter.

It banned its operations a week ago, after it deleted a tweet in which Buhari threatened secessionist IPOB members, though in a way that many consider insensitive.

But, a day after Twitter said it was ready to meet with the government over the impasse, Dorsef tweeted:
