This young Nigerian, Amanda Williams, needs our support.
The hitherto bubbling and enterprising Nigerian has been diagnosed with cancer, and she needs financial assistance to be able to continue treatment.
A communications form, BHM, is spearheading the intervention.
BHM notes in a statement:
“Amanda Williams was a member of BHM’s Talent & Material Management team from April 2015 to April 2016.
“After BHM, Amanda pursued a career in tech and later founded her own company, inspired by the desire to hire more women into tech roles.
“A few years ago, Amanda was diagnosed with Neurofibrosarcoma, a form of malignant cancer of the connective tissue surrounding nerves. This has taken a toll on her wellbeing and left her bedridden.
“After series of surgeries and chemotherapy, Amanda will need an additional $15,000 for the next set of treatments.
“BHM is committed to supporting her financially and otherwise through this period.
