Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has reaffirmed its commitment to producing entrepreneurial graduates and promoting academic excellence through research and intellectual engagement.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sa’adatu Liman, stated this on Wednesday during the university’s 4th Faculty of Administration Staff Seminar Series in Keffi.

Liman said the university would continue to provide platforms that promote intellectual curiosity and meaningful dialogue, while equipping students with entrepreneurial skills to become self-reliant and contribute to Nigeria’s economic development.

Delivering the seminar, Prof. Abdulsalam Jibrin urged participants to view entrepreneurship beyond business creation, describing it as a driver of innovation, social transformation and human development.

He unveiled the “Re-imagined Entrepreneurship Framework (REF),” which promotes entrepreneurship as a tool for responsible innovation and sustainable development.

Jibrin encouraged young Nigerians to embrace ethical leadership, creative problem-solving and calculated risk-taking, stressing that entrepreneurship is essential for addressing today’s complex economic and social challenges.

The seminar ended with participants calling for stronger collaboration among academia, industry and the public sector to promote entrepreneurial thinking across disciplines.
