Tunde Busari bags chieftancy title

An Assistant Editor with Tribune titles, Tunde Busari, will be conferred with a chieftancy title in Itori Egbaland, Ogun State on April 6, 2019.
According to a statement, the event, which holds in Itori, the headquarters of Ewekoro Local Government Council, is part of the 15th Coronation Anniversary of the Olu of Itori, Oba AbdulFatai Akamo who ascended to the throne in 2004.
Busari said, “Oba Akamo caught me unawares with this honour. It shows he appreciates the role played by the media in the society. I also appreciate him.”
Busari, who had worked at some other media houses, including Punch Nigeria Limited, before he joined ‘The Tribune’, is one of Nigeria’s leading features writers while he also regularly inspires conversations with his mature commentaries especially on Facebook.
