Teacher commits suicide in Lagos after allegedly killing her son

There was a lot of confusion in the Ayobo area of Lagos on Saturday after a woman allegedly killed herself after killing her three-year-old son.
The woman, who had not been identified as of Saturday night, was said to be a teacher whose husband resides abroad.
Details of how the incident happened were still sketchy but the mother and side were aid to have been found dead in her room, both foaming in the mouth, at their home on 1, Adeniran Street, Ayobo Lagos.
Police were said to have visited the place but a report indicated that the Ayobo people’s tradition demanded that the remains could not be immediately removed as some rites had to be performed based on the circumstance of the tragedy.
