American singer, Alicia Keys, has celebrated her son, Egypt Daoud Dean’s 16th birthday with a heartfelt message shared on Instagram on October 14, 2026.
In her tribute, Keys reflected on watching Egypt grow, describing every version of him as a gift to witness.
She also reassured him that he would always be her baby, regardless of how tall he becomes or how many years pass.
“Keep shining, keep dreaming, and keep being unapologetically YOU,” the singer wrote, encouraging her son to pursue his dreams and remain true to himself.
She ended the message by expressing her endless love for him and calling him her “young king.”
Egypt is the son of Keys and music producer, Swizz Beatz.
The couple have two sons together, Egypt and Genesis.
The birthday post also attracted birthday wishes from other celebrities, including singer H.E.R. and actress Reese Witherspoon, who praised Egypt in the comments.
