President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after concluding his working vacation in Europe.
He minced no words when asked by journalists how his adventure abroad was, saying he enjoyed himself.
He defined as a mere rumour reports that he was ill.
“Rumours will always emanate from politics, but the fact remains that I am here, healthy, sound and ready to go. Ready to work, and ready to go.”
Tinubu arrived in Lagos from Paris on Tuesday evening aboard the Nigerian Air Force One, which taxied into the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at about 6:22 p.m.
The President departed Nigeria on Aug. 30 for London, where he spent one week before proceeding to Paris, France, for the working vacation.
During his stay in Paris, Tinubu held engagements with French President Emmanuel Macron and participated in other official engagements.
The President returned through Lagos ahead of activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary and to honour the memory of the late Chief MKO Abiola.
