The Continental Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi, has urged Christians to remain committed to serving God and humanity.
Odeyemi gave the charge in a message to the 2026 Convention of the School of Disciples (SOD), organised by the RCCG Abuja Family in Abuja. He was represented by the Coordinator of RCCG Region 46, Pastor Timothy Olaniyan.
He said commitment to God’s service and humanity would help curb social vices and draw more people to righteousness.
Referring to Mark 16:15, Odeyemi urged believers to preach the gospel through love, compassion and forgiveness. He also advised Christians to show unity and use their resources to advance God’s kingdom.
The Abuja SOD Coordinator, Pastor Adeleke Ponle, urged the faithful to remain committed to God’s kingdom and use every opportunity to spread the message of truth, love and salvation.
The SOD FCT 17 Coordinator, Pastor Oluseyi Idowu, also encouraged Christians to live exemplary lives and actively spread the message of hope, love and salvation.
The convention, themed “The King’s Business”, has more than 600 participants undergoing discipleship training across 23 provinces within Abuja.
