Afrobeats superstar Davido is bringing the energy back to Lagos with a three-night residency at the National Theatre this December.
The singer is scheduled to take over the iconic Lagos venue from December 17 to 19, with the residency set to feature songs from his latest album, Oriadé, alongside some of the records that have shaped his 15-year career.
The three night showcase will give fans an opportunity to experience Davido’s music in a homegrown setting after years of performing on stages across the world.
The residency also carries a wider ambition, with Davido presenting Lagos as a city capable of hosting major music productions and attracting audiences beyond Nigeria.
Coming as he celebrates 15 years in music, the National Theatre shows add another chapter to Davido’s long-running connection with Lagos, the city where much of his musical journey began.
Tickets for the December 17–19 shows are expected to go on sale on September 25.
