Former Premier League goalkeeper Shay Given has married his fiancée, Rebecca Gibson, after a 12-year engagement.

The 50-year-old football pundit married Gibson at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, Oct. 10. Given, who played for Newcastle United, Manchester City and the Republic of Ireland, wore a tuxedo, while his bride wore a dress designed by New York designer Tom Sebastien.

Their daughters, Gracie and Cassie, served as bridesmaids alongside Sienna, Given’s daughter from his first marriage to Jane Cunningham. Given and Cunningham also have a son, Shayne.

The couple, who met while Gibson was working in public relations, held their wedding after-party at Hotel Cafe Royal.

Given is widely regarded as one of Ireland’s greatest goalkeepers. He made 451 Premier League appearances during his career, representing clubs including Newcastle United, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers.

Since retiring from professional football, he has worked as a television pundit for several media outlets, including BBC Sport.
