The deputy spokesperson of the Nigerian Senate, Sen Nwaebonyi, has explained the reason she ‘gave it’ to a former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, at the Senate public hearing into the sexu@l allegation Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan levelled against Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
By giving it to her, he meant he emphatically insulted her.
In an interview with Channels TV this evening, Nwaebonyi said he got angry after Ezekweisli told him to shut up when he wanted to speak.
He noted that it was wrong of her, at her age and with her profile, to so insult a senator right in the Senate.
“I gave it to her,” Nwaebonyi asserted, ruling out any apology
