Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku, has made a case for President Bola Tinubu’s continuity.

He said Nigerians needed to retain him to complete the process of fixing Nigeria.

The actor made the remarks during an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, where he said Nigerians are too eager for results.

“It’s difficult for somebody in Nigeria to help you. Now, stick with Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.

“Nigeria has to be patient for the renewal of this man. The country was not spoilt by him. There were people there before him. Why didn’t they (Nigerians) go and attack those people? He has to fix it now.”

As ‘The Nation’ reports, when asked whether Tinubu is doing enough, the actor maintained that the president is performing well.

“He is doing great. Nigeria should be patient. We are too much in a hurry,” he said.

Responding to suggestions that he may have been paid to support the president, Anuku said:

“Paid? How many people can be better than him because he is this and that? Most people who are gonna come after, maybe they are even worse,” he said.

“So, the devil you know is better.”

Anuku has made headlines in recent times after being spotted in a distressed state on two occasions, raising concerns about his well-being, which he has since dismissed.
