Nigeria has lost another great actor as Lawrence Adeyemi, popularly known as Suara, is dead.
Her daughter, Aderoku, announced the passage on Monday, noting the he passed on on Sunday.
Suara, who once held viewers of TV series, ‘Superstory’ produced by Wale Adenuga, spellbound, had not been active for some time.
Phenomenal.com.ng learnt that he had mostly been in his Ikorodu, Lagos home as he was said to have suffered a stroke.
Suara was one of those actors you could call natural ones as he had ready-made gifts for all kinds of roles.
He could be comic as he did in ‘Superstory’. He could be royal or play the role of a medicineman as he did in some other works/
Interestingly, he also had knowledge of Ifa the divination and wisdom god of the Yoruba.
His departure, therefor, invokes the gaps left by the likes of Duro Lsdipo, Hubert Ogunde and Jimoh Aliu.
