Outgoing First Lady, Aisha Buhari, is leaving office very, very soon.
She too has arrived the inauguration venue in Abuja, with the incoming President, Bola Tinubu, and the incoming First Lady, Remi Tinubu, already on gorund.
Although Aisha is leaving, it is arguable that she is leaving a winner.
The reason is that she is a core supporter of Tinubu, one who stood firmly by him even when it was not clear where Buhari himself stood.
Besides, when she was allegedly being persecuted by the cabal said to be driving the Buhari government, she had lamented that Tinubu and others who worked for Buhari’s victory had been relegated.
Now, as she leaves, she has her candidate in, with Tinubu being a politician who does not forget that kind of friendship.
