Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has joined some other world leaders who have congratulated President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
His counterparts in some other countries, including the UK and US, had earlier congratulated the politician.
Zelensky in a tweet on Thursday, while congratulating Tinubu, said his country was ready to work with Nigeria to overcome global challenges including threats to food security.
“Congratulations to @officialABAT on winning the Nigerian presidential election. I look forward to close cooperation. I’m convinced that bilateral interaction will be strengthened. (Ukraine) is ready to work together to overcome global challenges, including threats to food security!” he tweeted.
Some Twitter users, however, faulted Zelensky, arguing that the election that produced Tinubu was not transparent.
This is as others yet endorsed the congratulatory message.
