Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has called out singles he believes are too desperate to secure spouses.
According to him, being single does not translate to being handicap or disadvantaged.
He is unhappy that some people make singleness look like a disease they are waiting to be healed from.

He wrote:
“Being single is not being handicap, or at disadvantage. So stop saying ‘why am I still single?’ as if it is a disease you are waiting to be healed from.
A good singleness is by far better than a bad marriage.
And a bad marriage is what will happen if you are so desperate to marry.
If you are not happy as a single person, chances are that you will also not be happy as a married person.
Because right now, you are just handling your own emotions and you are struggling.
What will now happen if you have to deal with another person’s emotions?
