Controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu, has fired back at those critising Davido’s position that many Nigerian actresses are oloshos – combining men’s patronage with their job.

He is particularly tackling actress Iyabo Ojo, who has lambasted the Davido’s statement contained in an old tweet.

She had called Davido a ‘Serial Baby Daddy’ on the post in which he questioned the means of wealth of Nollywood actresses.

Maduagwu, who once confessed he was gay, in an Instagram post noted that even if the Davido’s tweet was made years ago, it still held some level of truth.

According to him, no one should pretend that a majority of the actresses are making nakking from only the screen.

He wrote:

“Firstly, that tweet back then and surprisingly, even now dey 100% correct,

we can pretend majority of #Nollywood actresses make dem money from acting, but who is fooling who?”

The argument over the sources of the wealth of Nigerian actresses is an ever recurring one.

Each time any of them showcases a financial achievement, many link such to pocket monies from some men.

That is why many have been questioning actress Laide Bakare how she got the money with which she built a grand house she recently unveiled on social media.

The same was said about Mercy Aigbe when she unveiled her house, with some saying then that she was former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s babe.

Both, however, said their achievements were products of their talents and genuine businesses.
