More vehicles are breaking down on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway as traffic outside Lagos increases due to the Sallah holiday on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our Correspondence at Phenomenal.com.ng reports no fewer than 15 vehicles were seen marooned on different spots on the road, while their owners battled to rectify the situation.

Observers note that the rush to travel s in their personal cars lured many of the affected owners to the road.

Security officials, and members of the FRS, were also seen trying to curb the oddity.

Apart from the vehicular breakdown in Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, there were also a couple of accidents.

All this put together has made transport fare surge.

For example, passengers buses had started N3000 per head for a Lagos-to-Ibadan trip.
