The Presidency has said that there was an armed robbery attempt at the home of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammdu Buhari, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambari, early this morning.
It however said it was an unsuccessful attack.
President Muhammdu Buhari’s Spokesman, Garba Shehu, revealed development in a tweet on Monday.
He said; “The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there ‘was a foolish attempt’ to burgle his residence at 3:00am today but it turned out to be unsuccessful.
“Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident.”
